Accommodation
The House and its location
Brian Lewis House is a handsome Victorian home that was formerly a large Victorian rectory. It was opened in 1988 and refurbished in 1996.
Located in an historic street, St Clements, just half a mile from the centre of Oxford, the house is in a beautiful setting with a fine, well-maintained and sunny garden.
The house is close to a post office, newsagent, hair salon, grocery store and several other shops. A range of restaurants and cafes is also nearby.
There are frequent buses to the centre and they only take 5 minutes to reach the main shops, library, museums and other local attractions. Bus stops are also nearby for local hospitals, central London and Heathrow. For car users, there is ample parking space at the front of the property.
Rooms
There are 10 well-proportioned residents’ rooms, all with en-suite bathrooms. Many of the bathrooms have supportive bars, and additional supports can be arranged for new residents. There is also a downstairs bathroom with a Parker bath.
All rooms are unfurnished, so each resident can bring their own belongings and possessions and personalize their room how they would like.

There is a spacious lounge & dining room, with French windows leading into a bright and spacious conservatory which meets a wide patio and the tranquil garden. Perfect for relaxing or enjoying the sun.
The house is equipped with a laundry, open kitchen and a guest room where friends or relatives can stay-over when visiting a resident.
People who have walking difficulties or use a wheelchair are easily catered for – there is an entrance ramp, a ground floor bathroom with assisted bath, and a lift to the first floor.
